Proiphysgros bulbes A amboniensis?

Category photo (no photo of its own for this entry)
As the original label is garbled ('Proiphysgros bulbes A amboniensis'), this entry is cautiously matched to Proiphys amboinensis, the closest known species name. Native to Southeast Asia and northern Australia, this Proiphys (Amaryllidaceae family) is a bulbous plant producing broad, rounded to ovate leaves on long petioles. A flowering stem bears an umbel of numerous fragrant, white, trumpet-shaped flowers. After summer flowering, the foliage dies back. It grows well in part shade, in rich, well-drained soil, warm during growth and dry at rest.
