Romulea sabulosa

R. sabulosa, the largest flowering species I have with incredible satiny coral red flowers with yellow triangle centers surrounded by thich dark linesI grow too many species to list them all here now, but some of my favourites are the glorious satiny red R. sabulosa which I find quite difficult to keep going; R. clusiana, easy in both pots and planted out; R saldanhensis which is bright and cheery and very easy; R. sladenii a lovely pure white one, slow to increase; R. tabularis with a pretty blue, white and yellow flower and lovely graceful lemony yellow R. hirta. One of the best combinations I had on our rock garden at home was Romulea sabulosa growing up through the silver New Zealand native groundcover Raoulia hookeri - wow!!Some of my favorite species J Duggan R. namaquensis - soft pale pink-violet with small violet stripes in throat, thin narrow leaves and large 1-1/2" flower
