Sternbergia lutea ssp angustifolia (/100)

The form 'Angustifolia' distinguishes itself from the more common S. lutea by its dark green leaves. Probabably a hybrid between S. lutea et S. sicula. It flowers more freely and it has proved in older gardens to be a better survivor. In Holland this form is offered under name of 'Autumn Gold'.
