Sternbergia lutea ssp angustifolia

Old plantings in favourable exposition have a tendency to be "crowded" up to the surface. Replanting will help to preserve the stock. The form 'Angustifolia' distinguishes itself from the more common S. lutea by its dark green leaves. In addition it flowers more freely and it has proved in older gardens to be a better survivor. In Holland this form is offered under name of 'Autumn Gold'
