Wachendorfia thyrsiflora

Wachendorfia thyrsiflora in nature grows in seasonally damp or wet places such as on the banks of rivers or in bogs. These usually dry out a lot or sometimes completely in the summer, so I don't think water in summer is too important. but they do like a fair bit of water in the winter when they are growing and flowering.
