Zantedeschia aethiopica Green Godess — arum, Calla
THE PLANT STARTS GROWTH AT THE END OF THE SUMMER. FROST MAY DESTROY THE FOLIAGE, BUT THE PLANT RECOVERS very QUICKLY AND FLOWERS THE SAME SEASON. A very good plant for marshy and shady situations on the edge of streams or ponds, but also support full sun and summer drought. 'Green Godess' is very similar to the type but the flowers have the remarkable feature that the outside of the spathe is green. Less vigorous plant than the type.

A genus which is only found in South Africa. Occasionally called Arum or Calla. There are both winterdormant and summer dormant species.
