Zantedeschia aethiopica ‘maculata’ — arum, calla
THE PLANT STARTS GROWTH AT THE END OF THE SUMMER. The foliage is nicely marked with silvery spots. FROST MAY DESTROY THE FOLIAGE, BUT THE PLANT RECOVERS very QUICKLY AND FLOWERS THE SAME SEASON. A very good plant for marshy and shady situations on the edge of streams or ponds, but also support full sun and summer drought.

A genus which is only found in South Africa. Occasionally called Arum or Calla. There are both winterdormant and summer dormant species.
