Spring flowering finished off with the impressive 3m high Eremurus, planted un a sand dune in the back of the garden. Even now loaded with seed capsules, the solid flower stem remains straight as a pole. Summer flowering is well on the way with Tulbaghias, Agapanthus and Crinums.
Our demonstration garden has now been taken over by a number of mediterranean perenials which add some colour and interest during the summer until the autumn bulbs come back in September.
In the nursery lifting is well in progress and shipping is due to start on the 22/06/09.
If you have any transplanting or dividing of summer dormant bulbs to do; this is the moment. The soil is not yet too hard and one can still see the places where the now dormant bulbs are.
