Haemanthus albomaculatus

Haemanthus albomaculatus is a synonym of Haemanthus albiflos, a bulbous species native to forest margins in South Africa, originally described from specimens with white-spotted leaves. It bears a white, brush-like inflorescence with prominent yellow stamens in autumn, on broad, evergreen leaves. Grow in pots or in the ground in partial shade, in humus-rich, well-drained soil; an easy-going indoor or woodland-edge plant.
